It’s time for the first installment of the Biweekly Blunder Run, where I record myself (poorly) playing a roguelike deck builder (again, poorly) for your potential entertainment. Today I’m going to be playing through a full run of StarVaders , a roguelike deck builder with a bit of a twist on the genre. You’ll see/read about it more soon. Image credit: Pengonauts StarVaders Primer StarVaders is a more recent entry in the genre, released in April 2025. It’s the debut game of developers Pengonauts, and boy what a debut. It’s rated Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam with over 1600 user ratings. If you’re unfamiliar with Steam, that’s an incredible achievement for a new indie dev on the crowded Steam storefront.
